The scope of works involves extensive site development activities, divided into Blocks 5&6, and the installation of essential utilities and drainage systems.
Site Development: The site development phase involves the clearance of approximately 18,000m². Site strip of soil is being undertaken to achieve the required formation levels for the site. Stripped material will require screening to provide re-useable topsoil, re-usable site won material and waste material / debris. Piling mat is being installed to the required depth. M&N will be cropping and trimming 1,600 precast piles to the top of the pile cut-off level, exposing, cutting, bending, and protecting the reinforcement to all for sub-structure to commence.
Infrastructure Development: The project includes the installation of comprehensive surface and foul water drainage systems. A total of 2,323 meters of drainage pipes, up to 300mm in diameter, are being laid, along with the construction of 40 manholes, up to 1,200mm in diameter. – Water supply infrastructure involves laying 958 meters of 150mm diameter HDPE SDR17 / PE100 watermain. The utilities installation also includes public lighting, Virgin Media and Eir services, ESB infrastructure, mini pillar vaults, and JB 4 & JB 6 Chambers. The scope extends to the development of undercroft areas, ensuring the integration of the infrastructure and utility installations. Works are also planned for Grant Park.
