Location:

Beaumont Hospital, Dublin

M&N Civil Engineering is currently progressing enabling works for the Phase 2 extension of the St. Luke’s Radiation Oncology Centre at Beaumont Hospital, delivered on behalf of HSE Estates.

This project represents a critical early stage in the expansion of Ireland’s radiation oncology services, supporting the future delivery of essential cancer treatment infrastructure within a live acute hospital campus.

Our scope comprises a fully integrated package of civil, mechanical, and electrical enabling works, carefully coordinated to maintain hospital operations at all times.

Key elements include:

  • Excavation and site preparation works
  • Diversion and modification of existing underground utility infrastructure
  • Construction of a new vehicular access ramp to support patient and operational access
  • Mechanical and electrical service diversions and installations
  • Public lighting and associated electrical infrastructure
  • Detailed planning and coordination to ensure safe access and minimal disruption

Operating within a live healthcare environment requires a disciplined approach to planning, safety, and stakeholder coordination. Our team is working closely with the client and design team to deliver the works efficiently, while upholding the highest standards of health, safety, and infection control.

This project further demonstrates M&N’s capability in delivering complex infrastructure within constrained, high-risk environments—providing programme certainty while safeguarding critical day-to-day operations.
