Bulk excavation of approximately 25,000m3 for 8 metre deep basement. This was a very logistically challenging project due to its location right in the heart of Dublin and the site Access via Dawson Street and Duke Lane and with the Luas on Dawson Street and the Pedestrian Foot fall of Grafton Street and Dawson Street.
M&N carried out excavation & civil works for Irish rail new National Train Control Centre (NTCC) on a brownfield site. Works involved partial basement dig, removal of contaminated material off site to licensed tips. Substructure works included, piling breaking & disposal, installation of blinding, back filling to basement slab walls. M&N completed basement slab drainage

Rock breaking 24,000m3 & disposed off site. Complex dig due to obstructions in ground reinforced concrete which had to be broken out from existing building. Disposal 60,000 tonnes
